Thai tourist visa guide: TR, METV or visa-free?

For a holiday in Thailand you have three routes: 30 days visa-free if your passport is on the list, the single-entry tourist visa (TR) for up to 60 days, or the multiple-entry tourist visa (METV) for repeated trips over 6 months. Since 15 September 2026, visa-free entry is 30 days for 60 countries and territories, for tourism only.
